We are a team of Volunteers some of us more that 20 years experience providing support to parents navigating divorce or separation don't lose your children as well. There is Hope.

Our Mission Statement

Fathers for Equal Rights is dedicated to supporting and educating individuals navigating divorce or separation. Our goal is to help you understand and protect your rights in family and domestic matters.

Our mission is to promote the belief that both parents play an essential role in a child’s life and to ensure that all parents have a fair opportunity to maintain meaningful relationships with their children, regardless of marital status or family structure. We are committed to providing education and support to families, advocating for the importance of children being raised and nurtured by both parents.

We have officially submitted registration as a non-profit organization, once state approval is received, membership donations will be tax-deductible.

When my wife and I first realized that we would have to go to court. To try and get some sort of visitation or come contact with my daughter, we were terrified, hearing the stories of fathers that lost in court cases and had any rights they had as a father taken from them was overwhelming and disheartening. The only thoughts we had were that of fear and despair.

As a person with no legal experience, the first thought that comes to mind is what do I do, then the following question is how am I going to pay for representation? My then girlfriend now my wife said to me "Babe, I found this group called Fathers for Equal Rights here is their number, lets see what they have to say, maybe they can help." I remember my first conversation with Louis Lliteras, it was a breath of fresh air and a feeling of God pointing us in the right direction. The sense of rlief that I received from guidance, was immeasurable.

That same day that we were on the phone, we set up a meeting at a Starbucks with Louis and the late great Sam Ross. I cannot tell you the amount of help it was to understand tat there were more dad's like me. With the help, knowledge and guidance that Louis and Sam gave me, we were able to put in the work, gather information we needed, and get educated on everything that was related to my case.

I also take it to heart that Louis shared his story with me and entrusted me with them. We are forever grateful and blessed to have been able to meet such fine men and an organization that cares to reach out.
